While we like to empower our users through the use of non-traditional casing, cables, designs, etc, the truth is we cannot reliably predict how our power supplies will work with 3rd party accessories. While standards are in place to ensure interchangeability and compatibility, in reality these are sometimes not followed by technicians (when he breezes through it, not following proper procedure), and some 3rd party unscrupulous manufacturers who prefer profits above all else. Due to these, unfortunately we cannot honor our 5 year reliability guarantee on any 3rd party accessories, or any modifications that were used with the power supply unit cables.
